Fruit & Custard Desserts

500 ml milk
45 ml Moir’s custard powder
5 ml vanilla essence
30 ml sugar
125 ml fresh cream, whipped (optional)
orange zest to garnish
Make filling (as per Fruit Phyllo Tartlets) and spoon lightly into the base of glasses.
Topping: Heat milk and custard powder and simmer until milk thickens. Remove from heat and add essence and sugar. Leave to almost cool and spoon over fruit. Chill to set.
Pipe cream onto custard. Garnish with orange zest and serve.
Makes about 6
