1 large can apples, drained
30 g Moir’s Citrus Peel
60 ml Safari Golden Sultanas
60 g butter or butter
70 g cake flour
60 ml Moir’s Desiccated Coconut
100 g brown sugar
Moir’s Custard, to serve (optional)
Preheat the oven to 180º C.
Grease a baking dish and spread the drained apples evenly in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle over the citrus peel and the sultanas.
Rub butter or butter into the flour, coconut and brown sugar until the mixture resembles rough crumbs. Sprinkle over the apples to cover completely.
Bake in hot oven until brown, crusty and firm; about 20 minutes.
Serve with Moir’s Custard.
