Brown Rice with Dried Fruit Nuggets

  • 125 ml SAFARI Raisins and Cranberries
  • 125 ml SAFARI Dried Pears - Cut into thin slivers
  • 250 ml Brown & Wild Rice
  • 750 ml water
  • 3 ml salt
  • a handful fresh mint - chopped
  • zest of 1 lemon


  1. Cook the rice according to the packet instructions and cool.
  2. Add the chopped fruit, lemon zest and mint and mix.
  3. Serve either hot or cold with the Fruity Lamb Pinwheels.
